Be prepared for your next poker tournament by following this simple to use poker tournament checklist.
1.) Visit the poker room - you should take alittle time to visit the poker room that you will be playing the tournament and learn about all of the scheduled tournaments available.
2.) Rest - poker tournaments can last for several hourts, so be sure to arrive for your poker tournament well rested and fed so you can endure for several hours of poker play
3.) bankroll - decide bfore you play a poker tournament how much money you are willing to spend, especially when playing in a rebuy structured poker tournament
4.) study opponents - be sure to study the other players at your table. Try to figure out who plays tight and who plays loose to gain an advantage at the poker table. Pay attention to the game at all times and watch all of your opponents very closely, even when you are not involved in a poker hand.
5.) survival - remember that the goal of the poker tournament is to reach the final table to cash out. Your primary goal is to survive. Do not be too concerned with ammassing a large number of chips early in the poker tornament.
6.) never give up - remember that all you need iis a chip and a chair to win the poker tournament. Almost everyone, including the winner of the poker tournament will experience a cold stretch at some pont during the tournament.
7.) sporstmanship - always be a good sport during and after the poker tournament. If and when you get knocked out, use proper etiquette and wish all of your fellow players good luck and be sure to shake some hands.
